At mumokuteki cafe KYOTO, the seasonal “MELON SWEETS FAIR” will begin on Monday, July 13, 2026. Enjoy two summery sweets made with plenty of seasonal melon, featuring the fresh sweetness of melon and the gentle flavor that only our homemade vegan sweets can offer.
The fair will feature two items: the “Seasonal Melon Parfait” and the “Seasonal Melon Tart.” Both are made without any animal-derived ingredients and highlight the deliciousness of plant-based ingredients in these menu items full of seasonal charm.

The “Seasonal Melon Parfait” is a summer-only parfait featuring our original soy milk soft serve paired generously with fresh melon. Inside the glass are layers of melon jelly, cocoa crumble, and yogurt cream, letting you enjoy different textures and flavors with every bite.
With the refreshing sweetness of melon and the light aftertaste unique to plant-based ingredients in perfect harmony, this is a dish that’s easy to enjoy even in the heat of summer.

The “Seasonal Melon Tart” is a dessert made with a fragrant tart crust using spelt flour and oats, paired with a rich custard cream made without eggs or dairy. It is topped generously with seasonal melon and served with homemade vegan ice cream for a satisfying finish.
The crisp tart crust, smooth cream, and juicy melon layer together to create a dessert that offers a different expression with every bite.
Under the concept of “A place where you can dine with peace of mind,” mumokuteki cafe KYOTO offers menu items that can be enjoyed not only by vegans and vegetarians, but also by those who are health-conscious or wish to be mindful of ingredients.
For this “MELON SWEETS FAIR” as well, we created sweets that make full use of seasonal fruit deliciousness while using no animal-derived ingredients and maximizing the appeal of plant-based ingredients. They’re also recommended for a cafe break while sightseeing in Kyoto or as a summer treat.
Why not spend a refreshing moment at the cafe this summer with these seasonal sweets that let you fully enjoy the deliciousness of peak-season melon?
